on the cusp of semi- greatness
OK, so Alex Rodriguez is really talented and has made a tremendous difference with the new york Yankee's, but like a handful of great athletes he was caught cheating, he claims that it was earlier in his career when he was with the Texas Rangers, but some wonder was he with the New York Yankee's when he was doping? To some people his legacy is forever tainted, and the milestone that he is at the cusp of reaching will mean nothing. in the 90's in the MLB all the major sluggers who were braking record, mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmiero, etc were all doping and it wouldn't come out until the fateful book called Juiced by Jose Canseco, who really blew the lid off of the cheating that went on, it turns out that he is the only credible one because he was honest. The point that I'm trying to make is, that when A-ROD was younger the culture was cheating and i think that's why he doped. it is easy for people to judge and say that he had an unfair advantage, but it was still him hitting the home runs, don't get me wrong i don't condone cheating but people should give him a break. he came out and said he didn't it, and he moved on from it, but he will be forever tainted, and he might have a hard time getting into the hall of fame, but i doubt it. its funny because a-rod has become more infamous, because of all the lovely ladies that he has bagged, Madonna, Kate Hudson, and Cameron Diaz to name a few.my wish for him is that he can once again become famous for his talents on the field and not how many ladies he has been with, he is a true talent, WHO will prob reach 600 very soon.
